What is Digital Divide?

Well digital divide is when theres a growing disadvantage between those who have technologies and those who do not.

Pros and Cons?

pro: more jobs. Con: less jobs

how? you may ask?

Well outsourcing is becoming very prominent in America businesses like MCcdonals and other fast food resturants are starting to give jobs to people in other countries for less pay. This is good for the managers or whoever is paying them but really isnt good for the people in America looking for jobs. They are outsourcing these jobs mainly to india, indian call centers are made to do things such as this. this example isnt necassarily a huge example of digital divide but they do have a growing technology system compared to us which is why we can outsouce to them.

So when you think youre talking to someone inside the resturant you may be talking to someone in a whole other country.
